Shipping Container Homes Book Series – Book 119

| By | Category: Free Tutorial, Profiled ISBU Project

Following  the incredible popularity of our digital book series – The  Most Influential Shipping Container Homes Ever Built – we  have decided to release a number of expanded  titles  for 2016 showcasing in greater detail some of the  best in Container based Construction from around the World.

Book 119 – Combination ISO Standard and Over-sized Custom Containers  – Korea

Today’s featured Shipping Container Home “Tteurak” by Unibox Architects in Korea is unusual in that it uses a combination of standard ISO Shipping Containers and 2 Custom built oversized Modules that have been constructed using a method similar to and utilized the Corrugated Steel Wall Profiles used in Shipping Container Construction.

This is not the first Container based Construction Project that we have featured ( both Home and Commercial Projects ) that use these over-sized Containers to maintain the look and feel of the Container Construction Method whilst overcoming the size limitation of the standardized Containers.

1 x 40′ Type 1A HC Container
1 x 20′ Type 1A HC Container
1 x 3.5 x 6.0 M Custom Module
1 x 12.5 x 3.5 M Custom Module

This is the 119th Container Home we have featured in this format for our Readers. You can download the entire back catalog of all 119 Books, an additional 30 Container Homes in our “ The 30 Most Influential Container Homes ever Built” Book, a free copy of our 3D Container Home Design Software, Technical Drawings and Whitepapers and Access our Video Training Tutorial Series  – in our Members Area here…
