Container Home Book 184 – Clay Walled Home with Container Feature

Today’s featured Home was designed and built by Architect Budi Pradono on the Indonesian Island of Lombak.

At the highest point of the house, are 2x  Type 1A shipping containers angled at 60 degrees to create a high ceiling in the master bedroom, and a big window with doors that open to a terrace.

The containers were sourced from a port of a nearby island and they still bears a “7h” orange logo. Exposed natural materials also feature throughout the residence to complement the building materials, like heavy wooden furniture and stone tiling.

This is the 184th Container Home we have featured in this format for our Readers. You can download the entire back catalog of all 184 Books, an additional 30 Container Homes in our “ The 30 Most Influential Container Homes ever Built” Book, a free copy of our 3D Container Home Design Software, Technical Drawings and Whitepapers and Access our Video Training Tutorial Series – in our Members Area.
