Shipping Container Homes Book Series – Book 52

| By | Category: Free Tutorial, Profiled ISBU Project

Following  the incredible popularity of our digital book series – The  Most Influential Shipping Container Homes Ever Built – we  have decided to release a number of expanded  titles  for 2015 showcasing in greater detail some of the  best in Container based Construction from around the World.

Book 52 – Luxury Container Home Denver Colorado

Today’s featured Container Home Project has been built in the uber hip LiHo neighborhood of Denver Colorado.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom home measures 2,192 square feet and was constructed using 9 x Type 1A 40’ Shipping Containers.

The home’s flat roof has been fashioned into a deck, allowing for the best views in all of HiLo of downtown Denver, the Rocky Mountains, and the Front Range. A spiral staircase leads to another deck, below.

Inside, the kitchen boasts Italian cabinets and quartz countertops, and wood floors run throughout the home. Metal stairs to the second level also come out through a hole cut in a top container.

Home prices in nearby blocks have a wide variance: Low-end homes are priced below $250,000, and high-end homes top $800,000.

Listing agent Sunny Leu-Pierre said the home is the most expensive listing in its immediate area, and the selection of its location was a strategic choice.
