Book 67 – Owner Builder Container Home Project $50,000 USD near Dallas Texas

Today’s featured Container Home is another successful Owner Builder Project built by Amber Smith and her Boyfriend 30 mins outside of Dallas Texas.

Constructed from 2 x Type 1A 40’ HC Shipping Containers this Home was sited on Concrete Piers with the majority of both Internal Walls Removed and Reinforced creating a 640sqft Home that although simple on the Exterior is truly beautiful on the Interior.

The 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Home took approximately 8 months and cost $50,000 USD to complete which includes quite number of “Luxury Features” including the $2,700 White Quartz Stone Shower Area.

The Home uses a Traditional Wood Frame Out and Closed Cell Spray Foam Insulation on the Walls, Roof and under the Floor and Drywall as an Internal Wall Finish.
