Following  the incredible popularity of our digital book series – The  Most Influential Shipping Container Homes Ever Built – we  have decided to release a number of expanded  titles  for 2016 showcasing in greater detail some of the  best in Container based Construction from around the World.

Shipping Container Homes Book 77 – 7,200 sqft Hybrid Container House Pennsylvania

Today’s featured Container Home was constructed by Owner Builders Martha Moseley and Bill Mathesius in Bucks County Pennsylvania

Inspired by an abandoned concrete Foundation left on their land after a botched, unrealized construction project of its previous owner, Martha and Bill envisioned, designed and managed the construction of this spectacular 7,200 sqft home manufactured from eleven recycled shipping containers

Situated on ½ an acre the contemporary structure takes full advantage of the spectacular views of the Delaware River in Bucks County Pennsylvania.

  1. Thanks Victor, another great example of a shipping container house, great story and vision using the previous owners concrete foundations to create a huge and unique design to call their home. I am always amazed how different every container home is.
