Shipping Container Homes Book Series – Book 84

| By | Category: Free Tutorial, Profiled ISBU Project

Following  the incredible popularity of our digital book series – The  Most Influential Shipping Container Homes Ever Built – we  have decided to release a number of expanded  titles  for 2016 showcasing in greater detail some of the  best in Container based Construction from around the World.

Container Homes Book 84 – 4 x 40’ 2 Story Container Home – Arizona USA

Today’s featured Container was built a couple of years ago – the Team that built it have closed their business and I felt it was important to document the build here in our Portfolio before that record was lost.. as the Company website is now closed.

The 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom Container Home covers 1,280 square feet and was built out of four x 40-foot Type 1A HC Containers stack 2 x 2 High.

Inside, the home features recycled hardware floors, bamboo cabinets and new Energy Star appliances. As the pictures show, it’s definitely quite spacious inside and certainly large enough for a small family.

Fairly obviously the 4 x 40’ HC Type 1A Container and the principals used here could be expanded upon to a larger Project.
