Shipping Container Homes – Individual Homes Book 29 – North Branch NY

This 1200 sqft two-bedroom country house utilizes the Hybrid Construction Method to reclaim space between 2 x Type 1A 40′ HC Containers that lie parallel on 2 x Type 1A 20′ Containers on contoured land.

The house is an open floor multi-level layout and features a south facing deck overlooking the Catskills North Branch, NY.

The lower floor is the master bedroom suite connected to the upper level by a spiral staircase.

This project was a collaboration with Tim Steele Design and Big Prototype. We have previously featured another of Tim Steele’s Designs Shipping Container Homes Book Series. See the included floor plan for layout details.

This booklet – Number 29,  is free as an electronic  download.

The presentation sets are intended for design inspiration and/ or obtaining bids only.
