Container Homes Book 42 – Masonry / Container Hybrid Home Construction
Today’s featured Container Home is unusual in that it is that is of Masonry Container Hybrid Construction.
Most Hybrid Container Homes are a Hybrid of Containers and Stick Built ( Wood or Steel Framed ) Construction.
This 2099 SQFT ( 195 SQM ) Home was built by José Schreiber in Cordoba, Argentina.
The layout is 2 x Type 1A 40′ Containers placed in an “L” configuration containing the main entrance, kitchen and pantry in one container. The laundry, bath, fireplace,
workshop and warehouse in the other.
Barbeque area, garage and living room are arranged between the two Containers and the bedroom and bathroom are situated in the upper level Masonry Construction.
