Shipping Container House Plan Book Series – Book 9

| By | Category: Free Tutorial, Profiled ISBU Home Projects

Following  the incredible popularity of our digital book series – The  Most Influential Shipping Container Homes Ever Built – we  have decided to release a number of expanded  titles  for 2013 showcasing in greater detail some of the  best in Container based Construction from around the World.

House Book 9 – Timber Cladding over Steel Containers.

This week’s featured Shipping Container Home uses timber cladding to conceal the 2  x 20′ Type 1A Containers used in its construction.

Constructed just outside of Jerusalem by Tel Aviv based Architects Yaron and Galit Golany this small tree house is a brilliant answer to those that are critical of the cold industrial look typical of container based construction.
