Container Project : 2 X 40’ Type 1A Shipping Container Swimming Pool Conversion

Today’s Shipping Container Project follows on from our feature last week of Taylor and Brooke Wagen’s domestic Swimming Pool constructed from a modified Type 1A 40’ Shipping Container.

Designed + Built for Zeppelin Developments at Taxi Community in Denver CO this Shipping Container Swimming Pool is the first of its kind: a full 75 ft Olympic length lap pool made out of 2 x 40′ Shipping Containers.

The Containers have been structurally reinforced to hold the 850 psqft of pressure on the side walls. The water is filtered through UV filtration which requires minimal chlorine.”extremely difficult” and “fully engineered”
